Sellick Forklifts Arizona

Following a lengthy association with a Ford Tractor dealer, Walter Sellick began to make his own company by modifying a tractor which was supplied by Ford Tractor. He modified it into a 6000 pound lift truck to be used outdoors. What is now regarded as the turn-around tractor series consists of a counterweight design and basic sub-frame and a mast.

Heavy duty lifts have changed in both their construction and design. An integral one piece frame idea was introduced to all units of Sellick forklifts since the year 1975. The standard Ford Tractor power train became retrained as the basic power module for most models. The market was for Sellick straight mast rough terrain forklifts were well established. The state of the art technology combined with the new design paved the way to vastly increased sales in the beginning of the 1980s.

A new part designed series was introduced during 1987. This series featured Continental, Ford and Perkins engine options and was equipped with shift-on-the-go transmissions. Furthermore, the low profile SD Series and the SG Series along with the See Thru roller masts became available in the market. The introduction of the 12,000 pound SD Series during the latter part of the 1990s together with the optional fully automatic Power-shift transmission featured the new millennium's technology.

In the year 1995, the company produced the TMF-55 Truck Mounted Forklift, that features a load capacity of 5,500 pounds. This particular model is powered by a choice of Deutz or Perkins diesel engine. This particular design vastly maximizes the complete delivery system-trailer, driver and truck and really reduces turn-around time to a minimum. The TMF-55 loads itself on the back of a trailer or a truck easily. This design saves huge cargo space and eliminates the need for towing a trailer.

Sellick Equipment Limited became the only distributer of the JCB Teletruck within North America in the year 2002. This variable reach industrial lift truck helps to fill out the material handling products selection. It offers a unique forward reach and utmost versatility.

During 2004, Sellick introduced the S Series of ergonomically friendly lift trucks. These units focused a great deal on operator comfort and safety. The business has launched a new era of manufacturing and top of the line lift truck design.
