Skyjack Boom Lifts Arizona

Skyjack Boom Lifts Arizona

Starting in 1986, Skyjack began making scissor lift platforms. They continued this mass production through the 1990s and became a global leader within the aerial lift business. Eventually, Skyjack grew to over 30 percent market share overall. Even now, the company maintains their dominance as an important player who has rapidly adapted to the changing face of the industrial equipment business.

Factors like their commitment to dependability and quality have been important to Skyjacks solid reputation. They are known all over the globe as being the maker of the best scissor lifts in the globe. The Skyjack product series is sold and manufactured all over the world.

Linamar Corporation, referred to as LNR on the TSX, bought Skyjack in August 2002. Linamar is best known for its production of assemblies, modules and precision-machined parts. Linamar's solid balance sheet offers Skyjack with increased strength and long-term stability overall. Skyjack presently has production plants in the United States, Arizona and Hungary with support offices within Europe and Asia.

The company offers a complete line of self-propelled scissor lifts. Some models have elevated work heights up to 56ft. Skyjack became a leader within the industry by providing machine features that combined durability, serviceability, quality and service, making Skyjack scissor lifts known throughout the globe for product dependability. The current Boom lift model lineup of the company consists of telescopic booms. These models offer telescopic booms that feature work heights ranging from 45 to 71 feet. The company has plans to further expand the boom lift product line in the future.

The purchase of Volvo's Material Handling Equipment business during August the year 2007 complements the products acquired in the purchase of Carelift Equipment. These acquisitions have improved Skyjack's Telehandler product offering in both the Zoom Boom series and the VR series telehandlers. These acquisitions provide the company an opportunity to grow with the additional manufacturing capacity. Skyjack continues to lead the way in the industry, providing dependable lift solutions.
