Lull Telehandlers
Ever since 1959, Lull has been producing telehandlers. Their equipment have been designed for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This system offers a lot more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers offer a huge range of optional attachments and these telehandlers can really help you accomplish your needs, while being safe and efficient at the worksite. If precision and accuracy are really vital, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you need.
The Future
Numerous attachments have been engineered and made to be able to make rough terrain forklifts as functional as possible. Winches, booms and rotating fork carriages allow the forklift to place materials in a more precise way. The articulating booms or booms come with 2 different extendible arms and are able to reach up and over structures in order to place loads in the center of upper floors or on interior roof slope settings. New products and attachments are being engineered and developed all the time and will be available in the future.
A lot of improvements have been made with extra safety features becoming more prevalent. Like for example, load-reach management devices are able to restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled rather than depending on the operator. Pressure sensors are utilized to be able to determine the load weight. This information is sent to a small electronic memory device which had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
When the load is being placed into position, the memory will compare the boom's extension and the angle of the boom with the safety limits. There is a warning system or an essential lock-up device that prevents the operator from over-reaching and potentially causing the boom to fail or the forklift to tip over.
