The narrow aisle lift truck has been manufactured to function in narrow storage spaces by increasing the ratio between the space and the aisle width. Yale makes the double reach NDR and single reach NR units that are used for aisle widths between eight and ten feet. The Yale Narrow Aisle trucks utilize best-in-class ergonomics and offer a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment which has different control handle and stance configurations.
NDR & NR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: There are numerous control handle configurations which meet a range of operations and the aft stance, a choice of fore or side-stance options also.
AC Motor Technology: The AC motor technology provides fast lifting speeds along with powerful acceleration and deceleration. It has been designed for quick plugging so as to facilitate more responsive directional changes that combine to increase the amount of cargo transported in a shift.
Mast & Reach Assembly: The trunion mounting and tapered roller bearings are part of the mast reach assembly. This increases the rigidity and durability of the mast; along with the reach assembly carriage that are reinforced for long life as well as the gusseted rear frame weldment.
Power Lowering: To greatly improve the overall throughput and production, Yale offers industry leading uploading speeds and lowering speeds.
Regenerative Lowering: While regenerative lowering can reduce battery changes per shift it also works to maintain a lower oil operating temperature.
Electronic Steering: The electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps and hence really reduces energy. The operator can adjust the steering tiller and the technician can adjust the steer effort so as to reduce operator exhaustion. During the start-up process, drive tire centers automatically initiate.
Order Selectors: Order pickers are also referred to as very narrow aisle trucks and the narrow aisle trucks. These machinery are designed for the manual handling of racked loads which are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors raise both the cargo and the operator to its required height. This height can be over 30 feet. Similar with most turret trucks they are normally wire or rail guided when utilized in very narrow aisle applications.
