Heavy Forklifts
With their new series of heavy forklift trucks, Hyundai is targeting a new customer base. Various industries, from the concrete and natural stone industries, to the steel business, the transportation of heavy goods in the ports and the railway sector are all relying upon and working with heavy duty machines. The efficiency and power offered by the models keep operational costs low and provide the best conditions for efficient work. These machinery could excel in the nearly all tough environments.
The Cummins diesel engines ranging from 162 horse-power to 250hp provides the required power on all of the large capacity units. TierIII emission standards are met with engines that have 6 cylinders. These models are able to take the truck up to a speed of 35 km/h. It provides for a high climbing ability on rough terrain and steep slopes and provides great acceleration as well.
To be able to select 1 of 2 driving modes, the operator can utilize a switch. When in "Power" mode, full power is available for work on heavy loads or difficult terrain. In the "STP" mode, the trucks can save lots of fuel during light-duty work. Furthermore, simply by pressing a switch, the operator could automatically maintain a chosen speed without touching the accelerator pedal. This is an added fuel saving function. The forklift's fully automatic transmission gently shifts through the gears, making the equipment easy to maneuver and comfortable to operate.
The well-ventilated cabin provides a spacious and comfortable working place. The cabin combines high performance with fatigue-free work. The powerful heating and air conditioning system helps make sure that the operator is comfortable inside. The cab was designed ergonomically to offer a bird's eye view of all of the controls, in addition to the overall safety of the unit. An MP3 player and a CD player put the finishing touches on providing the nice atmosphere that Hyundai machines are supposed to have.
