Genie telescopic S-booms have a horizontal reach of between 9.65 meters and 24.38 meters and working heights of 14.20 meters to 40.15 meters. Compared with different other aerial work platforms, telescoping booms have a a range of horizontal reach that is much greater. Genie telescopic booms are engineered with consideration to being able to access confined places during industrial and construction applications. They are also known for their ability to quickly maneuver through a job site with great drive speed and traction. The platform turns 160° hydraulically and is able to stay level through the whole range. Front-entry platforms are available from 1.83 meters to 2.44 meters and come with 227 kilogram to 272 kilogram capacity for operators and tools. 360° continuous rotating turntables offer operators quick, easy positioning.
The Z-135/70 model comes outfitted with a Jib-Extend, that is a telescoping jib. It extends from 3.66 meters to 6.1 meters. This specific unit could also reach 110° vertically to give the user the ability to reach jobs which were unreachable by standard jibs before. A secondary reverse-articulating boom on the Z-80/60 unit gives the user 8.83 meters of over and up reach. This particular feature allows up and over reaching jobs to be done with zero front arm swing.
Genie also provides the Fast Mast system which allows for valuable time to be saved when both secondary and primary booms need to be lifted or for lowering the platform without having to lower the secondary boom. The Fast Mast system allows both booms to be fully raised simultaneously. Both of these features of the Genie Fast Mast system reduces the time needed for users to descend and ascend, increasing productivity and efficiency.
